uzette is the dam of last year’s big seller and big winner, Santana. Santana was sold at last year’s sale to Jim and Gini Barker of Sweetbriar Suris. We are thrilled that he has continued his winning way for the Barkers, by taking Championships or Reserves at 8 shows, including GWAS and MAPACA.
Suzette is a high luster ¼ Accoyo Baron Granddaughter. She is well built with good bone and correct proportions. Her fleece exhibits well defined pencil locks. In fact, these locks are still evident, even after many years of shearing.
Suzette’s skin biopsy was above average:
Density-56.25 follicles/sq mm
S/P Ratio-9.43 to 1
At the time of her biopsy these were the only numbers being tested.
Suzette sells with the Santana’s full brother. This guy may be a lighter color than his brother but he is just as nice. Because he was a bit of a momma’s boy, he was weaned late and didn’t make the spring shows. However, since we sheared early we think he will do great for you this fall and expect his re-growth to be just as nice as his first fleece. He has high luster and his fleece will be available for viewing at the sale.
Given what Suzette has produced with Hotazel, we think repeating this breeding would be an automatic; however, you may prefer to diversify and are free to choose from our other herd sires!
