Mignonette is best described by the quality of her offspring- outstanding. We bought her Champion son, LODA’s Jon Luc (aka: Lucca) a few years ago, after showing him for his owners and currently own Lucca’s full brother, Big Daddy, as well. Both of these boys have what is best described as a buttery feel to their fleece. After seeing Lucca’s skin biopsy results, I know it is because of his fineness and the closeness of his primaries and secondaries. Lucca’s biopsy stats are below.
Mignonette can sell alone or with her current cria-- Bid Daddy (ARI#: 32034813), at side. Big Daddy is a genetic powerhouse whose pedigree includes such notables as Augusto, Caligula, Presidio and Barnabus. We will have his fleece available for viewing at the sale, as well as that of his full brother.
Mignonette has delivered 4 unassisted cria and is an attentive dam, without being overly protective. In thinking about her upcoming breeding, we are having a tough time deciding between Aficionado-- whose fiber stats are most impressive and his true black sire Cohiba, who is nothing to sneeze at either! In the end, we would probably go for Aficionado just because we would like to see what the result could be but we’ll leave that decision up to you.
