Maxine is an absolutely striking young female who refuses to blend into the herd. She's the daughter of Escalante, a maroon MacGyver son and Demitasse, our fawn Reserve Champion. Maxine has lustrous black fleece a soft handle and unique markings. Her conformation is correct and her stance is proud. Maxine has good bone and a beautiful suri head.
Maxine’s latest cria is Fly Girl, a maroon Kuma daughter who was born on Memorial Day. If Fly Girl does as well as I think she will at Nationals, she will also be in the pen sale. Fly Girl’s sire, was chosen specifically for his extreme fineness (21.2 microns, a 19.4 CV & 4.2 SD). As a bonus, Kuma also turned out to be extremely dense, with a skin biopsy of 70 follicles/mm sq! Maxine’s daughter from this pairing has uniform locks, high luster and a very slick handle. With what we have learned about skin biopsies, we think she may be extremely dense, as well. This first cria is proof that Maxine is not only pretty herself but can throw gorgeous cria as well.
Because this match turned out so well, we chose a male whose numbers closely match Kuma’s—Bronze Mahogany. Maxine will have one of Bronze’s first cria this fall. Bronze’s biopsy results are below:
