With many top wins and winning offspring behind her, Cupid is well proven. She is medium brown with a touch of white on her nose and top knot. She had incredible luster as a youngster and just shimmered, even after her daily dust bath. When she placed first in her class at the 2001 Midwest Alpaca Jamboree, Judge Amanda VandenBosch commented on her luster, incredibly fine fleece and locks that go all the way to her skin.
Her daughter, Que Suerte, took numerous firsts and Reserve Champions and sold at under a year of age to Ron and Sandy Hendricks, breeders who know how to pick top alpacas! Her Jet Stream daughter named, Look At Me, also took a first place and will most likely remain in our herd for several years. Hot Tamale, her Hotazel daughter, was on our show string last year and placed well against some top competition. Cupid blessed us with another Jet Stream daughter Bijoux, last Spring. It is only because we are likely keeping 2 of these offspring that we are selling Cupid.
Cupid is an experienced dam who has given birth and rebred with ease. Her crias have had strong IgGs and been problem free. We will keep her here free of charge until her cria is 3 weeks old or until she is safely ready to travel if you have her rebred here. Cupid comes with a breeding voucher for $750 off to any of our wholly owned herdsires.
At the time of the sale Cupid will be due any day with a cria out of our fawn champion, Golden Eye. Golden Eye is out of Jet Stream and his first cria is available for viewing at the sale. If you are keeping track of skin biopsies in your herd, be sure see his because it's outstanding.
