DD Peruvian Icy Sparks

DD Peruvian Icy Sparks & Cria
Type: Female Suri
Status: Bred / Proven
Birthdate: 6/13/2004
ARI#: 1063790
Color: Light Fawn
Service Sire: Last Hurrah
Due Date: 5/30/2011

Icy Sparks is the lightest shade of fawn with true black and Accoyo (Camion) in her pedigree. At birth, she exhibited tiny uniform locks and glow-in-the-dark luster. In fact, she was one of our show girls before she started producing. We have always bred her to fawn but her pedigree gives you some exciting color possibilities if you would choose to breed her to color.

Icy's first three cria were out of Jet Stream, an outstanding fawn with an impressive dense fine fleece--see his skin biopsy and histogram results. Her latest female cria, Chances Are, is out of Golden Eye-- a Champion Jet Stream son. She took first in a competitive class at MOPACA and is available in the sale, as well. All of Icy’s cria have been consistently among the top of our herd. In fact, her daughter B’Dazzled’s skin biopsy shows her to be among our densest suris—see results below.

Icy Sparks is due right around the time of the sale. We followed our pattern of breeding her to Jet Stream’s line, this time choosing Last Hurrah. Last Hurrah’s biopsy stats are below. He is not only dense but also incredibly fine. We really hate to part with this cria but that’s what this business is all about. If you choose to rebreed her here, Icy comes with a voucher good for $500 off a breeding to any of our herd sires and free board until she is 60 days pregnant and safe to travel. Because the results have been consistently outstanding, we suggest you stick with Jet Stream or one of his sons. However, because of the black in her background and because of the gray that her daughter Ice Princess threw, it might be fun to gamble on a truly wild color possibility by breeding her to Motley Hue.
