Golden Eye was among the first crop of Jet Stream crias and they have turned out to be clones in a variety of colors. In fact, Golden Eye helped Jet Stream win Get of Sire at IAOBA, winning against the highly decorated full Accoyo Somethin’s Up! All of Jet’s cria have his beautiful head, dense tightly locked fiber, correct conformation, presence and luster, luster, luster!

Golden Eye, in particular, stands out for his density and luster. He was sheared at the 2007 Nationals so all of his ’08 wins were with re-growth and many were against unshorn alpacas- Impressive! His histogram and skin biopsy results are impressive, as well. All will be available for viewing the day of the sale.

The real proof of a male is in his progeny. Golden Eye’s first cria is now on the ground and available for viewing at the pen sale. We had originally planned to offer her in a 3 in 1 package with her dam, Icy Sparks, but as soon as she was born we knew we had to keep this little girl separate. There are a few crias each year who stand out from the crowd and Golden Eye’s daughter is one of those. At two days old she already had great coverage with a typey suri head and a full beard filling in. Her locks are small pencils that cover her body. Her handle and luster are already impressive, as well. She carries herself like she’s destined to be in the show ring—and she is!
