Copper Sprite is the daughter of one of our favorite foundation females and the late great WLRG Dune, owned by Breakstone Ridge. With bloodlines that also include Uribe and Baron, she is the perfect blend of Accoyo and color. Her subtle vicuna pattern, high degree of luster and slick handle is a spinners dream. In addition to her fleece characteristics Copper is a well put together female. She has great presence, correct proportions and nice bone. She is a proven dam whose first cria was completely trouble free.

Copper is due with a Hotazel cria in just a few short months and we’re very excited about this particular match. The mark of a great herdsire is the success of his offspring. In only two short years Hotazel offspring have lit up the show ring, winning 16 Banners, 26 Firsts and 24 Seconds. For those who think you can't compete in second fleece-a few of those Banners were with previously shorn alpacas! The two whites have even beaten full accoyo whites-now that's just plain fun!
